#MyWLDreamWardrobe Competition

For the #MyWLDreamWardrobe Competition, Westfield London are offering bloggers a chance to create their dream A/W12 wardrobe for a chance to win a designer handbag. All you have to do is create a pinboard of all your ultimate Autumn/Winter Wardrobe from the brands within Westfields Designer Village with your choice of statement handbag as the hero piece!. I often receive emails recommending I enter certain competitions but usually can never be bothered with them, however, this one really caught my eye as soon as I read "if money was no object what would your statement handbag be? What type of wardrobe would you build around it if your credit card had no spending limit?" oh the fun you could have with that!. Westfield have an amazing designer village and there's recently been as a ton of things I have had my eyes on in some of the shops there, especially Whistles and Joseph, so I knew this competition was going to be fun when I already have half a wardrobe planned out in my head already.  You can view all the details on the competition here and click here to see all the latest news, events and stores within the Westfield Village

So for my choice the statement Handbag, I went for the Prada Saffiano Calf Leather Tote. I think everyone is always quick to go for a Mulberry when asked what their dream handbag would be but I feel the Prada tote has way more of a classic and elegant style to it that can not be beaten. I also feel it's simplicity is much better suited to my overall style and choice of wardrobe. The design of the handbag is very similar to the infamous Hermes Birkin but I find Prada's style to be far more timeless than any other "it" bag and when deciding on a bag for the competition this was the one I went back to every time.

For my dream Autumn/Winter wardrobe there seems to be a running theme of Black, leather and leopard print. This part was like heaven on earth as there is so much I am in love with right now, making it incredibly hard to choose my stand out pieces. I definitely think the Whistles Marlon Leather Jacket would be my ultimate must have for A/W to throw over any outfit.  I went for a lot of classic basics such as the Gucci Silk Shirt, and Kooples Dinner Jacket. There are some amazing leather skirts out that would a must in my A/W wardrobe, the two that seriously caught my eye was the Calf Length Burberry Leather Skirt and then for an evening alternative I love this Kooples Leather Zip Skirt, oh to have a bottomless pit of money !. For footwear I chose a pair of classic Whistles Chelsea Boots for smart day to night wear, a flat kooples belt pair for something more casual and then a for evening heels these amazing Alexander Wang like strap sandals also from Whistles. I've stuck to a continuous style through out my pinboard as I love a minimalistic, neutral coloured wardrobe for A/W It would be lazy to cite leather as an Autumn/Winter trend, as in recent years, the two have almost become synonymous, but as an extreme lover of the fabric I have chosen to shop the look in all different forms from the whistles scallop leather top to the Joesph Spark Stretch Leather Leggings.

Overall it's seriously hard to select favourites when I am in love with every single item of clothing, I even went a little nit picky deleting bits I didn't think suited the rest of the looks on the pinboard, had to give my self a little reality slap that I will not actually be owning these outfits so they don't actually have to match :((((, No doubt I'll be adding more bits over time as there is so much within the Westfield Designer Village I would die to get my hands on, but for now you can view all my current choices here on my Pinterest Board.
