CAN'T WAIT TO BLOW MY CANDLES OUT

So yesterday was my Birthday, I wasn't in the best of celebratory moods but my boyfriend came over and thoroughly spoiled me to cheer me up and a group of us went out to Blues kitchen in Camden in the evening and all ate WAY too much, I'm still getting through my birthday cake today so god knows how much I'm going to balloon to this week. The ultimate birthday treat was this asymmetric dress from COS! I've had it on my wishlist for months and month (after first seeing it here), after almost giving up looking I magically found one in an XS on eBay and made sure I won it ! and what do you know, it arrived on my birthday. I'm so annoyed it's that bit too short to wear without anything underneath , I wanted to wear it just with bare legs like the girl in the picture but all i'd have to do is lift my arm a millimetre and I'd be completely exposing myself, I blame my height :(. This is the leather jacet from my birthday shopping splurge, I've already worn it everyday since buying it and sold my old one to even it out a little so it was definitely money well spent. I also went a bit OTT on my nails but I thought it's my birthday so why not! I was also wearing a glittery topshop vest on the night and may have looked a little like a cheap christmas tree but never mind, there's no such thing as too much glitter.

For anyone getting involved with the Olympics but hasn't got tickets for any games my boyfriends band, Eliza and the Bear, are playing BT London Live tomorrow in Victoria Park and Hyde Park!, it's free to get in to and they'll have all the games on a big screen with bands playing throughout the day, Alexander Burkes headlining I think. I'm super excited to see them play both parks, even twice in Hyde Park, so anyone about in London wanting to just chill out and avoid all the travelling crowds come down, have a few beers, I'm hoping the weather holds out !
