Hi, hope everyone's had a lovely week, I haven't been able to blog much and didn't want to do another instagram post like right after the last one so here's a few random details and bits from this weeks antics. The first picture is my amazing Karen Walker knock off sunglasses ! I wanted a real pair but was being so indecisive on spending so much money on sunglasses, I saw these on eBay for £9 and thought you can't go wrong! they even have the arrow detail down the arm of sunglasses too. The most exciting bit of news this week was Alexisonfire announcing their farewell tour dates!, they are my ultimate favourite band and I was fortunate enough to meet them all at their last London show, literally that poster is my pride and joy and I'm soo excited for one last show, they where the best I've ever seen them at HMV forum so I don't know how they'll top it this time round. Speaking of bands Hyde Park with Feeder/Temper Trap was amazing! a little embarrassed to say we didn't pay too much attention to the bands but I had my picture taken with the guy from Temper Trap backstage haha, I was plastered by about 4pm as drinks where £5 a go inside a group of us just decided to get smashed before we went in, come the evening everyone was out of it, the guys managed the swindle some free drink from the woman who sorted us the wristbands but I still was still spending so much money buying food every five minutes to sober me up haha.
Lastly I also went to Susie Bubbles Yard Sale yesterday! I was too shy to take any pictures but she was there and seemed like the sweetest woman ever, I didn't buy anything as I think I got there a little late in the day but it was still a fun little trip out.
I'm so excited for the closing ceremony tonight, I know theres still the para-olympics to come but I can't imagine life without the olympics right now, working in the heart of it has been amazing and everyone's had such high spirits, I really didn't think I'd get into the olympics as much as I did but I'm so proud of how well team GB have done on their home ground.
